Well, this is awkward.
I decided to end this weekly events email about a month ago, and then way more people than I ever imagined responded basically with “Nope.”
In all seriousness, I was genuinely touched by how many of you reached out, shared how this resource has been helpful, and even offered ideas to keep it going.
So here’s how it’s going to work. The Eugene Cal will still land in your email every Tuesday with some of the best events in town. It will still be me writing it, checking that events aren’t sold out etc, and trying to find the events worth attending. No AI slop.
What’s different this time around…. I need your help.
Every person you can tell about this project, or ad you don’t mind clicking, or tip jar donation helps cover the costs and can bring the resource to more people. Always feel free to reply back with suggestions, tips, feedback, or even pictures. Also, get ready for me to try things… some might work… some might not. Mid-day walking club (I have a baby that loves her stroller walks)? Hosting a Speed Friending event? Who knows…. the sky is our limit!
